1ripe avocado, halved, seeded & peeled

1/2 cloosely packed fresh cilantro leaves

1/3 csour cream

1jalapeno, seeded, & coarsely chopped

1/2 tspsalt

1 ccoarsely chopped green onions

1IN MEDIUM PAN, COMBINE TOMATILLOS & WATER. BRING TO A BOIL, REDUCE HEAT. SIMMER, UNCOVERED FOR 5-7 MINS. OR UNTIL TENDER, STIRRING OCCASIONALLY.

2USING SLOTTED SPOON, TRANSFER TOMATILLOS TO FOOD PROCESSOR OR BLENDER, COOL SLIGHTLY. ADD 2 T. OF THE LIQUID.

3ADD AVOCADO, GREEN ONIONS, CILANTRO, SOUR CREAM, JALAPENO, & SALT TO BLENDER OR FOOD PROCESSOR. COVER & PROCESS UNTIL SLIGHTLY CHUNKY. TRANSFER TO COVERED CONTAINER, CHILL FOR 1-24 HRS. CAN SERVE WITH GRILLED MEAT OR POULTRY.
