Ingredients For salsa verde (green hot sauce)

10tomatillos husked and rinsed

8serrano chilis sliced

1onion cut in half

1 Tbspgarlic chopped

2 Tbspsalt
How To Make salsa verde (green hot sauce)

1Place tomatillos,chilis, onion, and garlic in big pot (I use my old spaghetti pot) add water just to cover. Sprinkle salt over the top. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to med-low and cook until tomatillos are soft and have turned slightly brownish in color 20-30 minutes. Add water if needed to keep from burning as it cooks.Drain the liquid off the vegetables and mix in a blender until smooth
