My family absolutely LOVES this salsa. I have tweaked it quite a bit over the years, and now I think it's just right.

Ingredients For salsa

  • 8-10 md
    yellow and red tomatoes
  • 3 lg
    white or yellow onions
  • 3 md
    avocados
  • 5 clove
    garlic
  • 2 lg
    green peppers
  • 2 lg
    yellow peppers
  • 3 sm
    jalapeno peppers
  • 3-4 lg
    ears of corn
  • 1 can
    black beans
  • 3 Tbsp
    red wine vinegar
  • 1 bunch
    fresh cilantro
  • 4-5 pinch
    salt and pepper
  • 4-7 dash
    hot sauce

How To Make salsa

  • 1
    Slice all tomatoes, onions, avocados and peppers into bite sized chunks and place in very large bowl.

    Mince garlic and add to bowl of veggies.
  • 3
    Remove corn from ears after cooking and place into bowl with veggies. Drain and rinse black beans and add to mixture.

    Add vinegar, chopped cilantro, salt, pepper and hot sauce and mix. Let set to meld flavors @ least 1 hour. Serve with tortilla chips.
