I got this recipe from my daughter who lives outside of Atlanta Georgia. Her family loves it and so do I.. Hope you will make it for your family! :-)

Ingredients For salsa

  • one can
    14.5 oz can of tomatoes and green chili
  • one can
    same size can of whole peeled tomatoes, undrained
  • one Tbsp
    jalapenos (canned, diced,not pickled)
  • one tsp
    jalapenos (same as above)
  • 1/4 c
    yellow onion (diced)
  • 3/4 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    cumin
  • 1/4 tsp
    sugar

How To Make salsa

  • 1
    In food processor place jalapenos and onions. Process for just a few seconds. Add both cans of tomatoes, garlic salt, sugar and cumin. Process all ingredients until well blended but not puree.

    Place in covered container and chill for a couple of hours and this will help blend and enrich the flavor.

    Serve with your favorite thin corn tortilla chips.
