This is another of my Great-aunt Naomi's recipes. I can remember eating it, but I have never made it myself. I've estimated the prep and cooking times as there were none given. I have also written it as she did; mis-spelled words and all.

Ingredients For pepper relish

12 green peppers

12 red peppers
-
12 onions-large

3 pts. vinegar

2 cups of sugar

2 t. (tablespoons) salt
How To Make pepper relish

1Remove the seeds from peppers.

2Peal onions.

3Grind all together, not to finely.

4Pour boiling water over and let stand five min. and drain.

5Cook vinegar, sugar and salt.

6Add peppers and onions, then boilup once.

7Put in hot jars and seal.
