Once you make your own, you won't ever buy that bottled stuff again. Easy to make and you can adjust the heat! The "new" ketchup!

Ingredients For oh my pico de gallo!

  • 2 c
    tomatoes, fresh if possible, seeded and diced (if canned, drain)
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 2-3 clove
    garlic, microplaned or very finely diced
  • 1/2 c
    chopped cilantro, (fresh only)
  • 1-2
    jalapenos, chopped finely, remove seeds and membranes as you desire
  • 1 tsp
    salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp
    cumin
  • 1/2
    lime, juiced and zest of 1/2 of the lime as well
  • 1 Tbsp
    e virgin olive oil

How To Make oh my pico de gallo!

    Seed and dice tomatoes or drain if using canned (save juice for spaghetti sauce!)

    Add all the rest of the ingredients.

    marinate for a couple of hours if you can at room temperature.
