This is the only way I make salsa anymore and I make at least one batch a week. It's so similar to what the Mexican Restaurants serve everyone loves it. Number of habanero's depends on level of heat you like, I've used up to 4 at times. No cook, just use food processor and your done.

Ingredients For lynn's everyday salsa

  • 28 oz
    can whole tomatoes
  • 3/4 c
    water
  • 3/4-1 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    cumin
  • 2 tsp
    lime juice
  • 1 bunch
    cilantro
  • 2
    habaneros

How To Make lynn's everyday salsa

    Place habanero's in food processor or blender with 4 or 5 of the whole peeled tomatoes. Blend for a minute or two till peppers are chopped completely. Add the rest of the whole peeled tomatoes and the juice from can.

    Chop on high for another minute or so adding water, garlic salt, cumin, lime juice and cilantro. Start with 1/2 c of water, if you like it thinner add a little more. Taste test and add more spices if desired. I normally use one bunch of cilantro but you can use less or none to suit your taste.
