Super simple to make and you can add or subtract to adjust the heat and sweetness of the salsa. Makes about 2 quarts

Ingredients For fresh salsa verde

  • 1 1/2 lb
    tomatillos husked, washed, top part cut off and discarded then halved
  • 1 md
    white onion quartered
  • 3
    serrano chilies seeded and halved
  • 5 clove
    garlic
  • 1 c
    cilantro
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    salt

How To Make fresh salsa verde

  • 1
    Place all ingredients in food processor and process until desired consistency. Taste and adjust for seasoning.
