There once was a wonderful Chinese restaurant near where I live that had fabulous food. One of my personal favorites was their Hot Sauce. I know...Mexican food in a Chinese restaurant...but it was wonderful! The BEST hot sauce ever...

Ingredients For canton hot sauce

1 canchopped tomatoes, 27 oz
-
1/4 cketchup
-
1/4 cvinegar
-
1jalapeno, fresh, seeded and chopped

1/4 csugar...can add a bit more if you like

2 tspblack pepper
-
2 tspsalt
-
1/8 cvegetable oil
-
dashgarlic powder to taste
How To Make canton hot sauce

1Put half the tomatoes, jalapeno and vegetable oil in the bowl of a food processor and process until it is as chunky or smooth as you like.

2Remove from processor and put in a large bowl. Add all other ingredients and the rest of the tomatoes. Combine thoroughly. Refrigerate.

3You can add other ingredients to your taste, such as onion or cilantro.
