I mixed up this concoction for a pork roast I have in the slo cooker. It's similar to another rub I use, so I know it will be good. I just added more heat to this one. Use this on just about any meat, if you enjoy the combination of sweet and spicy. Enjoy!

Ingredients For ~ sweet & spicy rub ~

  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    each - chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    spicy montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 tsp
    red pepper

How To Make ~ sweet & spicy rub ~

    Mix ingredients well together - I use my fingers. Place in a jar with lid until ready to use.

    I used half for a pork roast that I have in my slow cooker. This can be used for just about any meat.
