Ingredients For tomato sauce

5 Tbspolive oil

1 lgyellow onions, diced

3carrots, diced

5 ozpancetta, diced

1 canitalian crushed tomatos (28 oz)

1 tspcrushed red pepper
How To Make tomato sauce

1Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion, carrots and pancetta and cook until onions are translucent (about 10 minutes).

2Add tomatoes, generously season with salt and add crushed red pepper. Mix well, lower heat to simmer and cover. Sauce will begin to cook down.

3Continue cooking until sauce gets to your prefered consistancy (Approx 45 min to 1 hour). Stir often so as not to burn on the bottom. Also taste to ensure that sauce has proper seasoning.

4Serve with your favorite pasta and parmigiano reggiano.
