Trying to cut salt in your diet. Here are three different seasonings that you might want to give a try. I had to adjust my cooking years ago when my husband was diagnosed with high blood pressure. I learned then to season differently so we wouldn't miss the salt. Now most foods taste too salty to both of us.

1 tspfreshly ground black pepper

2 tspgarlic powder

1 tspbasil, dried

1 tsporegano, dried

1 tsplemon peel
- SALT FREE SEASONING #3

1/2 tspdry mustard, i prefer coleman's

How To Make three salt-free seasonings

1Mix all ingredients together and store in an airtight container. You can keep a portion of each of these seasonings in a shaker and just shake over your dish as you would salt. Try these on soups and meats too when cooking.
