My sister gave me this recipe. My husband and I both really like teriyaki so it is nice to be able to just make it at home now. You can use fresh or powdered ginger and I have substituted pinneapple juice for some of the water when I have it on hand. I just don't use as much honey when I use pinneapple juice.

1/4 csoy sauce

1 cwater

1/2 tspginger

1/4 tspgarlic powder

5 Tbspbrown sugar

1-2 Tbsphoney
- COMBINE ABOVE INGREDIENTS IN A SAUCEPAN AND BEGIN HEATING.

2 Tbspcornstartch
-
1/4 cwater
- STIR CORNSTARTCH INTO WATER UNTIL WELL COMBINED AND ADD TO SAUCEPAN.
How To Make teriyaki sauce

1Cook and stir over medium heat until desired thickness is reached. Serve over chicken, pork or beef or use as a marinade for shrimp or a glaze for salmon.
