Ingredients For teriyaki glaze

  • 1 c
    soy sauce
  • 1/2 c
    mirin
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
    each grated ginger and garlic
  • 1 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp
    water

How To Make teriyaki glaze

  • 1
    Mix the cornstarch and water together and set aside. Mix all other ingredients together in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and reduce the heat and whisk in the cornstarch mixture and cook until thickened.

    Ladle into jars and store in refrigerator or use a pressure caner can the jars at 10 pounds pressure for 1 hour.
