This right here is for all of those who bake and for all of those who find that once you are baking and the recipe calls for SCM, you don't have it. Here is a easy way to have homemade SCM on hand. This makes what would be equal to a 14oz can.

Ingredients For sweetened condensed milk

  • 1/3 c
    boiling water
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    carnation powdered milk

How To Make sweetened condensed milk

  • 1
    Using a electric mixer, blend together water,butter,sugar and vanilla. Add powdered milk and blend until thick. Store in fridge for up to a week.
