sweet and tangy barbecue sauce

I have tried for years to find just the right barbecue sauce without much success. I took me three years of trial and error to find the right combination of ingredients to make a good all purpose sauce and this is the result. I have used this on pork, beef, and chicken and it is delicious on all.

Ingredients For sweet and tangy barbecue sauce

  • 2 lb
    light brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    paprika
  • 2 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    barbecue seasoning
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    season all
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    black pepper
  • 29 oz
    canned tomato sauce

How To Make sweet and tangy barbecue sauce

    Empty brown sugar into a large mixing bowl.

    Add spices and mix to thoroughly combined.

    Add tomato sauce and mix until completely incorporated.

    Pour into squeeze bottles or storage bowl with lid and store in refridgerator until ready to use.
