Ingredients For sweet and sour hawaiian bbq sauce

1/4 cchopped onion

1/4 cchopped green bell pepper

2 clovegarlic, minced

1/2 cbeer
-
1/2 cpineapple juice reserved from pineapple

1/2 ccrushed pineapple
-
2 Tbspbrown sugar
-
1 can(small size) tomato paste
-
1 Tbspvinegar
-
2 Tbspsweet asian chili sauce
-
1/4 tspcayenne pepper

1 Tbspolive oil
How To Make sweet and sour hawaiian bbq sauce

1In a skillet, cook the onion and green pepper in the olive oil until tender- about 5 mins. Add pineapple and let cook on medium-low. In a separate bowl, whisk the beer and pineapple juice together then stir in brown sugar, tomato paste, vinegar, chili sauce and cayenne pepper. Stir into the vegetable/pineapple mixture and let simmer til thickened a bit. Remove from heat, let stand for 5 mins and then process in a food processor or blender til as smooth as u like.
