Ingredients For speghetti sauce

  • 2 can
    whole tomatoes
  • 3-4 clove
    garlic
  • 1/2
    large yellow onion
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    basil, dried
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1/2-1 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin

How To Make speghetti sauce

  • 1
    Saute chopped onions (olive oil) in a large pot on med low heat untill soft and translucent add garlic and saute for about 3 min untill soft.

    add tomatoes add basil and oragano add salt add sugar. cook on med high unitll it comes to a boil then turn down to simmer.

    smash tomoatoes as you are stirring with the spoon or u can use a potaote smasher, let simmer for 2 hours stir occasionaly. store in fridge in jars for up to five days (or freeze in bags if you like) walla sauce! enjoy!
