This was my mothers recipe. You can even use this sauce for lasagna too. And if you feel the sauce has to much acidity you can add a pinch of sugar to help neutralize the acid in the sauce plus the sugar brings out the flavor.

Ingredients For spaghetti sauce

2 canhunt's diced tomatoes 14.5 oz

1 canhunt's tomato sauce small can

1 canhunt's tomato paste small can

1 mdgreen bell pepper
-
1shallot or 1 medium red onion

1 - 2 clovegarlic minced
-
1/2 lbground chuck
-
1/2 lbsweet italian sausage
-
1/4 - 1/2 tspmccormick italian seasoning

1/8 - 1/4 tspcalifornia ranch olive oil
How To Make spaghetti sauce

1Dice shallot or onion, pepper, mince garlic.

2Cook ground chuck, sausage together till done and grease is clear and no longer pink. Drain grease.

3Put meat mixture back on stove to that add shallot or onion, pepper cook till translucent, add garlic last as to not burn the garlic. Add tomatoes, sauce, paste, italian seasoning, and olive oil. Simmer on low heat for about an hour stirring occasionally.
