Ingredients For red garlic pizza sauce

3 Tbspolive oil

1/2 mdyellow onion, minced

1/2 mdgreen bell pepper, minced

3 clovegarlic, peeled and minced

1 1/2 cwater

8 oztomato paste (not sauce)

1/2 Tbspdried basil

1/2 Tbspdried oregano

1 Tbspdried parsley

salt and pepper, to taste
How To Make red garlic pizza sauce

1Heat oil in a deep, heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion and green pepper; cook and stir for about 5 minutes.

2Add the garlic and continue to cook, stirring, until the vegetables are tender. Add the water and stir in the tomato paste.

3Add dried herbs and lower heat. Let simmer for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, to taste, and continue simmering for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sauce is desired thickness.
