Ingredients For poblano crema sauce

  • 1
    poblano pepper
  • 1
    white onions
  • 3
    garlic cloves
  • 3 tsp
    oil
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    white pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    mexican crema

How To Make poblano crema sauce

  • 1
    In a medium sized sauce pan heat up the oil and sauté the onion, poblano, and garlic until tender and almost caramelized
  • 2
    Throw in the butter until melted
  • 3
    Add Flour to thicken
  • 4
    Stir in crema and milk
  • 5
    Add white & black pepper, limejuice and salt; Stir and let simmer 3-5 minutes
  • 6
    Remove from heat, taste test!
