A friend of mine gave me this recipe and it's been a favorite of ours. I make it early in the day in the blender and refrigerate until ready to use so the spices all blend together.

Ingredients For pizza sauce

14 1/2 oz( or 1-3/4 cups)chopped or diced tomatoes, including juice

6 oztomato paste

2 tspdried basil

1-1/2 Tbspolive oil, extra virgin

1-1/2 tspdried oregano

1-1/2 tspsugar

salt to taste

1/2 tspgarlc,chopped {optional}
How To Make pizza sauce

1Early in the day {to give the flavors time to blend together}put all together in a blender and mix well. Refrigerate until ready to use. I don't add the garlic, but that's just my taste, if you like garlic you can add.
