Ingredients For pesto linguine

  • 1 lb
    linguine
  • 2 c
    lightly packed fresh basil leaves
  • 1 c
    olive oil
  • 1 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 clove
    garlic
  • 1/2 c
    pine nuts or walnuts
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh lemon juice

How To Make pesto linguine

    In a large pot, cook linguine according to package directions; drain and return to pot.

    Meanwhile, in a blender or food processor, make pesto sauce by combining remaining ingredients; blend until smooth.

    Add pesto sauce to linguine, toss until well combined, and serve.

    Garnishing Tip: Serve this topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and a few toasted pine nuts. Add some delicious Caesar Salad and I have added i cup of chicken cooked and dice and added that was also great, and your meal is complete!
