Ingredients For pesto alla genovese

2 cpacked fresh basil leaves

3/4 cextra-virgin olive oil

1 cfresh parsley, chopped

1/2 cpine nuts

10-12 clovegarlic

1 1/2 tspsalt

1/2 cfreshly grated parmesan cheese

dried crushed red pepper flakes
How To Make pesto alla genovese

1Wash and dry fresh basil and parsley.

2Position knife blade in food processor bowl; add basil leaves, and process until finely chopped. Add parsley and pine nuts, garlic cloves, salt and drizzle about 1/2 the oil. Process until smooth, adding more oil to make a creamy smooth pesto.

3Stir in cheese. Serve over pasta.
