Ingredients For pepsi barbecue sauce

  • 1 can
    pepsi cola
  • 1 1/2 c
    cups catsup
  • 1 c
    onion, diced
  • 1/4 c
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 c
    heinz 57 sauce
  • 1 tsp
    chili powder
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • hot pepper sauce to taste

How To Make pepsi barbecue sauce

    Bring all ingredients to a boil, then simmer for 1 hour. This is the way to cook this for storing for later use, or to pour over the ribs of choice in a crockpot, and then cook for 6 more hours that way.

    Can refrigerate to save for later use, or can use on browned pork or beef ribs, put into a crockpot. Pour sauce over meat in crockpot, and cook on low overnight.
