Ingredients For parsley sauce

4 tbsp butter

6 tbsp flour, (white, whole wheat)

1 1/2 cups milk, whole

1/2 cup cream

1/2 - tsp salt, sea, fine (or to taste)

1/4 tsp pepper, fresh ground, white

4 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

1/4 tsp nutmeg, freshly grated
How To Make parsley sauce

1In a pan, melt the butter and add the flour while you are stirring. Cook for a few seconds then gradually add the milk, a little at a time, stirring constantly until the sauce is to your desired preference. (thick or thin) Add the salt, pepper, parsley and nutmeg now and taste, adjusting seasonings if necessary.
