Ingredients For mornay sauce for crepes

  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 3 Tbsp
    gruyere cheese (or swiss cheese) grated
  • 1 Tbsp
    parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 tsp
    dijon mustard

How To Make mornay sauce for crepes

    Melt the butter in a small saucepan.
  • 2
    Remove from the heat and add the flour, stirring with a wire whip.
  • 3
    Return to a moderate heat.
  • 4
    Add the milk gradually, stirring the mixture constantly until the sauce is thickened.

    Add the remaining ingredients, and salt and pepper to taste.
