marinara sauce
Once again I ventured away from the traditional sauce with my marinara. The rough chop style of bell pepper adds texture your fork can grab onto providing what I say is an overall satisfying sauce. Everyone who has tasted it seems to love it and asks for more.

Ingredients For marinara sauce

1/4 colive oil, extra virgin

1 cchopped onions

2 cloveminced garlic
-
2 canitalian stewed tomatoes

6 oztomato paste
-
1 tsporegano
-
1 Tbspbasil, dried

1/4 tspblack pepper
-
1/2 tspcoarse sea salt

1/2 cwhite wine

2 cchopped red bell pepper
How To Make marinara sauce

1Heat Olive oil into large stainless steel pot on low. Mince onions, rough chop bell pepper, mince the garlic. Cook on low until onions are slightly translucent.

2Add tomato sauce, tomato paste heat on simmer. Sprinkle seasonings of Basil, salt & pepper, oregano.

3During final 15 minutes add white wine. Serve over pasta with Garlic bread.
