The original recipe suggested stevia for this but I don't much care for the taste of stevia, but I don't mind Xylitol, it is one of the best non-sugar sweeteners out there and it's "not" chemically altered.

3/4 cfiltered water

1/2 clow sodium soy sauce

3/4 cxylitol
-
1 1/2 tspmolasses

1/4 tspgarlic powder

1/8 tspground ginger
-
1/8 tspxantan gum or guar gum
How To Make low glycemic teriyaki sauce

1Combine water, soy sauce, molasses, Xylitol, garlic powder, ginger and cornstarch; whisk to mix well.

2Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils and thickens slightly.

3Cool to room temperature.

4Yield 1-1 1/2 cups sauce Enjoy!
