Ingredients For lemon sauce for apple pudding

  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1 lg
    egg,beaten
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 tsp
    lemon rind,grated
  • 1/3 c
    lemon juice, fresh

How To Make lemon sauce for apple pudding

    Bring sugar,flour,and water to a boil. Cook for 5 minutes. Stir in egg and butter. Cool the mixture for 15 minutes. Stir in lemon rind and lemon juice. Serve warm over apple pudding.
