I enjoy homemade Lebanese yogurt, called Lubin or Luban, but this works fine if not making one's own yogurt!

Ingredients For lebanese lubin sauce - shortcut

  • 2 c
    plain yogurt, whole/2%
  • 1
    lemon, juice of
  • 2 tsp
    dried mint, crumbled or 2 tablespoons fresh mint minced fine
  • 1 clove
    garlic, grated
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper, or to taste
  • 1 - 2 c
    cucumber, chopped fine (optional)

    Mix all together. Taste for seasonings. Chill before serving.
