I didn't really care for the taste of canned enchilada sauce, and went searching the internet for a good enchilada sauce recipe. This recipe has been adjusted using help from various recipes I found. The first time I made it I fell in love with it...I won't go back to canned enchilada sauce again!

6-7 Tbspflour

4 Tbspchilli powder

2 tspcumin

2 tsponion powder

2 tspdried cilantro

6 cbeef broth

2 Tbspapple cider vinegar

How To Make jeanine's enchilada sauce

1Make a roux with butter and flour. Whisk until smooth. Meanwhile, have other dry ingredients mixed together and add this to the roux, cooking for 1 minute. Slowly add in beef broth, little by little, stirring constantly. Add vinegar and bring to boil for 1 minute. Reduce heat to simmer and cook for 20 minutes.
