This flavorful sauce has some sweet & some heat, a great combination of ingredients nicely blended together!

Ingredients For indonesian peanut sauce

  • 1/2 c
    smooth peanut butter
  • 1 Tbsp
    coconut sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    ginger, minced
  • 2 lg
    cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1 tsp
    sesame oil
  • 1 tsp
    low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp
    freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp
    red pepper flakes, or more to taste
  • 3/4 c
    low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp
    dry roasted peanuts, crushed

How To Make indonesian peanut sauce

  • 1
    Put all the ingredients except peanuts in the jar of a blender and process until smooth. Stop a few times to clean the sides of the jar.

    Transfer the mixture to a small saucepan and warm over medium-low heat; serve warm and sprinkle crushed peanuts on top. Yield 1 ½ cups
