hotdog sauce
When I was little, my dad's best friend and his wife use to make this sauce when we went camping. I LOVED "the hotdog sauce". Sadly, they would not share the recipe with me. This is my attempt.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot
Ingredients For hotdog sauce

1 lbground beef

1/4onion, minced

1 cantomato paste (6 oz can)

1/8 cbrown sugar

2 Tbspketchup
-
2 Tbspbbq sauce

2 Tbspchili powder

1 tspgarlic powder

1 tspsalt

1/2 tspcayenne pepper

1/2 tsptabasco (or other hot sauce)
How To Make hotdog sauce

1Food process onions. Put in non-stick pan cook for 3 minutes on medium high. Add ground beef and brown until no more pink. Make sure to break up beef as you brown.

2Combine tomato paste and rest of ingredients in a bowl. Whisk to combine.

3Put beef mixture in slow cooker, mix in tomato mixture and cook on low for 6-8 hrs.
