I’ve made a couple of the chili dog recipes on here. They were good but not as spicy and tasty as my husband and I like. While making one today I tried using some of the ingredients that we use to spice up other dishes. What a magical surprise! I decided to put this in the recipe book here on JAP so that I will have it for another day. I’m (almost) old and forget quickly!! Hope you all enjoy it. This can also be made in a slow cooker. And also made ahead and froze.

Fry hamburger with onions and garlic. I usually sprinkle this with garlic salt. But, that’s a preferred taste. I like garlic and salt. Drain

Add all other ingredients. This is a spicy recipe. If you don’t like spicy cut down on the spicy spices. And maybe use the mild Ro*Tel. For even spicier add a can of Bush’s Hot Chili Beans. For true Chili Dog

Simmer for a couple hours and pile it on Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, fries or even use over an egg omelet. Topped with shredded cheese. Sooo many possibilities.
