Ingredients For hot dog onions

2 Tbspcorn oil

1 lgonion, chopped

salt, to taste
-
pinchpepper
-
1 tspchili powder
-
1 1/2 tsphot pepper sauce, I use Frank's brand

pinchcayenne pepper

1 tspsugar
-
1 tspprepared yellow mustard

2 Tbsptomato paste
-
1/2 cwater
How To Make hot dog onions

1Heat oil in a medium-size skillet on med/high heat. Add onions. Cook until onions are very limp and all fluid is evaporated.

2Add all the remaining ingredients except for the tomato paste and water. Simmer uncovered for a few minutes.

3Then add the tomato paste and water. And simmer uncovered again til it reduces in half.

4Serve on top of cooked hot dogs.
