Ingredients For homemade teriyaki sauce

  • 1/2 c
    soy sauce
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 2 tsp
    grated ginger
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1/4 c
    mirin
  • 2 Tbsp
    honey
  • 1 tsp
    sesame oil
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    cornstarch

How To Make homemade teriyaki sauce

  • 1
    Mix the cornstarch and water together and set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer and simmer about 3 minutes. Bring back to a boil and stir in the water and cornstarch mixture and cook until thickened. Keep in fridge.
