Ingredients For homemade red enchilada sauce

    flour
  • 1 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    paprika
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    onion powder
  • salt/pepper
  • 1 can
    small tomato paste
  • 4 c
    stock, chicken or vegetable
  • 1 Tbsp
    vegetable oil

How To Make homemade red enchilada sauce

    In a sauce pan, heat the vegetable oil to medium.

    add in all the dry spices, stir well.

    whisk in the tomato paste,continue until all is well combined, add in the stock and continue whisking, it will thicken up to a thin, but rich consistency..lower the heat and simmer about 15 mins.
