homemade hot chili sauce
This is a recipe I have used for many years. It's great with all meats or just on its own with toast. My sister just eats it right out of the jar and gobbles it all up LOL. The level of heat depends on what peppers you use - we like it hot.

Ingredients For homemade hot chili sauce

3 canitalian-style diced tomatoes (28 oz each)

2 lgonions

2 lggreen peppers

2 lgbell peppers

2 lgpoblanos or hot banana peppers

6 clovegarlic, minced

1 1/2 csugar (i use splenda - about a cup)

2 cwhite vinegar
-
3 Tbspsalt
-
1 Tbsphot chili powder
-
1 tspground cinnamon
-
1 tspground allspice
-
1 tspground cloves
-
1 tspground nutmeg
How To Make homemade hot chili sauce

1Chop all peppers/onions into small even pieces and combine all ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a boil and simmer for 1.5 hours or put in a crock pot and cook on low for 8 hours.

2Pour into sterilized jars and put in a water bath for 10 minutes.
