This is the blend used to make Beau Monde Dip. I make it so often, that I like to make my own blend up. The unusual combination of spices makes people wonder, what is in this dip.

Ingredients For homemade beau monde seasoning

  • 1 Tbsp
    cloves, ground
  • 1 1/4 tsp
    cinnamon, ground
  • 1 Tbsp
    kosher salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    bay leaf, ground
  • 1 Tbsp
    allspice, ground
  • 2 Tbsp
    freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    freshly ground white pepper
  • 1 tsp
    freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1 tsp
    mace, ground
  • 1 tsp
    celery seed

    In a small mixing bowl, mix together all ingredients. Pour into a tightly closed jar and store in a cool, dry place.
