This recipe is the optional sauce for Elvis Presley's favorite meatloaf, which I have also posted.

Ingredients For elvis' special cheese sauce for meatloaf

  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 1/2 c
    grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c
    fresh parsley leaves, chopped
  • pimentos from jar, as desired

How To Make elvis' special cheese sauce for meatloaf

  • 1
    Mix the milk and soup; heat over medium heat, then add the cheese. Simmer until cheese is melted. Stir chopped parsley and pimentos, if using, into the soup. Pour sauce over the meatloaf, or pass at the table.
