    butter
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    fresh lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 c
    whipping cream

How To Make creamy caramel sauce

    In a heavy saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add the sugar and lemon juice and cook, stirring constantly for 6-8 minutes or until the mixture turns a deep caramel color.

    Gradually add the cream and cook, stirring constantly, for 1-2 minutes or until smooth. Remove the pan from heat and let it cool.

    Pour the caramel sauce into a glass jar and use or store in the refrigerator.
