This year my daughter, her husband, and my two grandchildren came to Michigan from Alabama for Thanksgiving. I decided that this year I was not going to open the token can of cranberry sauce but was going to make it homemade. I search the internet for a recipe and found a lot of them. They were basically all the same except how much sugar and water was used. I found this one on the internet as my husband told me his mother always used orange juice. I took has a sign from the cooking gods and decided this was the recipe I would use. Very easy and very tasteful. Will never use can again.
