Anyone who tries this sauce is sure to come back for more. We love it on just about any meat, particularly ribs and chicken. Delish!!!

Ingredients For ~ comeback sauce ~

  • 2 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 1/3 c
    each - chopped green pepper & chopped celery
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 2 tsp
    garlic paste or couple garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    each - chili powder & cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp
    each - cinnamon, salt and pepper
  • 1 c
    ketchup
  • 1 tsp
    tabasco sauce
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    cider vinegar
  • 1/3 c
    each - brown sugar and molasses
  • 1 Tbsp
    horseradish

How To Make ~ comeback sauce ~

    In a medium saucepan over medium heat, stir in onion, celery, pepper and garlic. Cook until tender, stirring often. Stir in remainder of ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring often. This sauce is delicious on just about any meat. I love it on wings too.
