Ingredients For classic basil pesto sauce

2 cfresh basil leaves

2large garlic cloves

1/2 cgrated parmesan cheese

2 Tbspgrated romano cheese

1/4 cpine nuts or walnuts

1/2 colive oil

salt and pepper
How To Make classic basil pesto sauce

1Combine basil, garlic, cheeses and nuts in blender. Process to mix. With machine running, slowly add the olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Process to desired consistency. Let stand 5 minutes. Thin pesto with a few T. cream or hot pasta cooking water before tossing with hot pasta. (fettucine or linguine).
