cherry tomato sauce and onion meatballs

This is my own recipe I came up with. My sister Kathy has her own sauce she is putting on justapinch. We thought it would be fun to see whose is the best! Her's is called Peppers Parmesan & Herb Spaghetti Sauce.

Ingredients For cherry tomato sauce and onion meatballs
- MEATBALLS

4 Tbspcanola oil, divided
-
1 lbground beef
-
11/2envolpe of lipton onion soup mix
-
1 tspitalian seasoning
-
1 tsporegano, dried
-
1/2 tspsalt and pepper
- SAUCE
-
11/2 ptcherry tomatoes, sliced

1 tspbasil, dried
-
1 tsporegano, dried
-
1 tspitalian seasoning
-
1/2 tspsalt and pepper

3 5.5oz canv8 juice
-
16 oz canroasted garlic tomato paste
How To Make cherry tomato sauce and onion meatballs

1heat two tablespoons of oil in a skillet. In a medium bowl combine all meatball ingredients. Roll meat into 30 balls.

2Cook meatballs 10 minutes or until no longer pink.

3In another skillet add the rest of oil and heat. Add tomatoes to hot oli.

4Sprinkle tomatoes with the seasonings.

5Cook on medium-low heat for 15 minutes.

6Add the v8 juice and tomatoe paste; stir to combine.

7Add the meatballs to sauce and simmer 15 minutes.

8Serve sauce and meatballs over your favorie pasta.
