Can be used for many different dishes when requiring a cheese sauce.

Ingredients For cheese sauce

  • 1 Tbsp
    unsalted (real) butter
  • 1 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    dry mustard (coleman's)
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 3/4 c
    shredded cheese of your choice
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper

How To Make cheese sauce

  • 1
    Mix milk and flour together until well mixed with no lumps. Whilst milk is still cold.
  • 2
    Place in pot and then add all remaining ingredients. Bring on heat and as mixture starts to get hot it will thicken up to a nice consistency. If it gets a bit too thick on you add a bit of milk until you find the right consistency.
