1 1/2 cpacked brown sugar

3/4 ccorn syrup

3/4 cheavy cream

1/4 cbutter
-
1/8 tspsalt

2 tspvanilla extract
How To Make butterscotch sauce

1In a heavy saucepan, combine the sugar, corn syrup, cream, butter and salt. Bring to a boil and stir constantly until sugar is dissolved.

2Insert a candy thermometer and continue cooking until temperature reaches 238 degrees.

3Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
