1 lbor 2 to 3 cups butternut squash,cut into 1/2 " cubes

How To Make butternut squash sauce

1In a large skillet, over medium heat, add the olive oil and onion, saute' 2 to 3 minutes, then add squash, salt, pepper , nutmeg and broth, stir to blend..

2Cover, cook 8 to 10 minutes. When squash is tender, transfer mixture to a deep bowl . Use an immersion blender to puree sauce.
