Ingredients For butcher's rub

  • 2 Tbsp
    tellicherry peppercorns, coarsely ground
  • 1 Tbsp
    kosher salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    onion flakes, dehydrated
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic, dehydrated
  • 1 Tbsp
    red or green bell pepper, dehydrated
  • 1 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1 tsp
    parsley flakes
  • 1/2 tsp
    thyme, dried
  • 1/4 tsp
    rosemary, dried
  • pinch
    cinnamon
  • pinch
    freshly grated nutmeg

How To Make butcher's rub

  • 1
    Measure all ingredients into a container and shake until thoroughly blended.

    Store in cool dry place.
    Sprinkle on meat prior to grilling.

    If your dehydrated ingredients are too large, give them a whirl in your food processor for a couple of seconds.
